Posted by Jindo - March 22nd, 2008

A video preview of Warp Avoider:

As for the level editor, the major glitch might not be fixable, so I may just redo parts of the level editor :P.

Pretty much, but with so much more depth D:, it's sort of a Mouse Avoider, but instead of moving the mouse to control the object, you click where you want it to go.

You also have to switch between 2 parallel dimensions to reach the exit in each level.

There's a Normal Mode, in which you must simply reach the exit.

And there's an Advanced Mode (which was demonstrated on the Youtube video), where you must go over every block in the level to activate the exit, which screwed me over on a certain level :).

Thanks for watching and glad you like it ;)!

hey

Hai.

Looks kinda weird, but that's probably coz I'm not sure I get it.... >.>

It's in early stages, especially with graphics, think of a game where you click with the mouse, and your character moves to where you clicked. It's got this concept, you must reach the exit of each level by clicking towards it, but there are tons of dead ends on a single level, so you must use your ability to warp to parallel dimensions, with this you can continuously switch worlds and advance to the exit "safely".

You'll probably understand it better when it's out (If you decide to play it).
