Nothing Unqiue.

The concept was good, but in the end, it was a filter-whore mouse-avoider with a change of colour, it's been done millions of times, you want to add something to make it interesting and worth playing, that none of the other mouse avoiders have.

Not bad though, keep it up.

Rofl!

Were you inspired by those videos of that guy trying to beat some impossible mario level? Because I tried to make something like this too XD.

Awesome job, very well presented, and very humourus ;D!

Keep it up!

EggysGames responds:

Yeah I was.

Hmm...

It wasn't bad, but there were a few thinks that really bugged me about this...

1) The layout on the menu was really awkward, you don't know which presents play what game without rolling over them.

2) When you open a present, it opens slowly, and suddenly goes to the mini-game.

3) Because of this 'suddeness', the music changes without warning too, which was a major put-off when B0UNC3's song came off :( (It was good, but it didn't suit the game at all, and it was damn loud).

4) The games that I played didn't have a back button, and on souled's game, no matter how much I died, it didn't take me to a menu, just restarted the game, as if to say "You're stuck here now >:D!", the only way out of that game was to re-open the flash >_<.

---

That aside, the games that I played were really fun concepts, some of them could use some work on the graphics, and you could probably use some transitions between menus and music.

Not bad, good job, keep it up everyone :).

Merry christmas!

FlukeDude responds:

Well there was a last minute rush to sort out the menu, and each present had some sort of relevance to the game. Though if I had more time I would have probably added those things. (whats wrong with being stuck in my game? I know you all love it. :D)

Thanks for the review, and Merry Christmas!

Awesome!

Slightly huge improvement on the visuals :)!

Played a couple of levels, gonna play some more soon!

Keep it up man :D!

Coolio-Niato responds:

Thankisai! =D

Argh! Missed the launch! How? D:

Amazing game.. seriously surprised that I missed the launch :(.

What's more surprising is that this game only got a Daily 2nd!?

Anyway, time for what could be, my most in-depth review ever:

MENU AND PRELOADER

Nicely done, the visual effects on the preloader very groovy (the lines that appeared every 10%s(?)), the tent and general sounds gave a real atmosphere to the menu, as did the fonts used.

1ST PATIENT

So I click Play Game, nothing new just yet, I get the letter with a message about my patient and the injury that has occurred, but when I began to play the game I was surprised!

I found it way too damn hard! Until I remembered about giving the patient alcohol.

The graphics for this first patient were AMAZING! I love the effects you used with the medical alcohol, the white flashing and black splodges all over the screen really gave a feeling of Pain itself.

The music was awesome! MaestroRage is very talented, it set the atmosphere of the surgery PERFECTLY!

So eventually I managed not to kill the 1st patient :).

(To add onto that, I also liked the Game over menu and the message with it).

2ND PATIENT

Interestingly gory patient, again, excellent style with the graphics and sound effects, the game play was very interesting though.

On my first attempt, I accidently killed the patient instantly by dragging the object the wrong way (oops!).

After that, I ran out of time (forgot the alcohol!) puring medical alcohol over the head (again, awesome visual effects with the screaming and white flashy image!)

After some time of messing up the patient, I stormed through the 2nd surgery and spared the man's life :D.

3RD PATIENT

Alot easier than the 1st and 2nd patient, I beat this one on my first go, nothing too new now that I've faced an open head-wound and a gushing arm, but as soon as I opened the skin up, I was seriously freaked out by what I saw! Good job on the 3rd patient's concept!

So I went ahead and saved this patient fairly quickly, by this time I've got the idea that patients die slower when they're drunk.

I encounter the explosion, and although I completed that surgery, I couldn't help but feel that the guy was probably dead after the explosion.

4TH PATIENT

Incredibly nice twist, I love how you're introduced to this level, really puts you under pressure even if you're not the character.

The Will to Live was also a nice addon to this patient, made it even more stressful mashing the space bar whilst causing severe pain as usual ^_^.

I eventually beat this patient, and I must say, I THOROUGHLY enjoyed playing this game all the way through! The graphics and sound were out-standing, and the general game-play and concept were just too fun to pass up!

GENERAL INTERFACE

Well, the achievements are a nice touch, again, I've played BR5 so this isn't a brand-new feature, but I couldn't help but feel that these were so much easier than BR5.

I earnt them all on first go, even the easter egg (which was somewhat obvious after clicking around for a while xP).

Speaking of the easter-egg, I actually found it quite rewarding, unlike most easter eggs, which tend to be pointless :P.

The new layout in-game was fantastic! It wasn't TOO hard to get into the game because of the instruction bar telling you what to do, and having the items flash if you hadn't used them before was also a really helpful feature, great addition :)!

---

All in all, you've really out-done yourself! And I'm really REALLY surprised that this didn't get a Daily Feature, maybe you're cursed again?

Keep up the amazing work :D!

jmtb02 responds:

I LOVE YOU JINDO.

Excellent Tutorial!

Although I've already learnt this stuff, it was very well explained, you even gave examples on how to use the effects at the end :).

Very well done, good job :D!

digitalk responds:

Thank you!

Awesome!

Very nice graphics, and very nice concept! I think I top'd the score boards but it's not showing my score D:

5'd and favourite'd! Keep it up :)!

TrueDarkness responds:

Thanks a lot man, I'm so glad you liked it. It's people like you that make submitting flashes worthwhile. Thanks!

Hm..

Uncanningly like the Awesome Stick Tutorial, some of the animations you made(?) were identical to his :P.

Still good nonetheless, but I barely ever see a stickman with hair or faces, and your example animation didn't even use them =P..

TehKillah responds:

I said you don't really use hair or faces that often in stick fighting only. My example animation was stick fighting (:
Thanks for the review

Oh man!

Awesome, this is from the VG Boss Collab right? Good times D:.

Loved it, glad you made those into an actual game, they were really stylish!

Anyway, very nice concept, keep it up :)!

BoMToons responds:

Yeah, OOOOLD good times...I hate seeing hard work go to waste.

Awesome Game!

And ignore hardyboyz, these kids games piss him off because he had no childhood..

This was VERY well put together, fun not just for kids, but for all ages imo.

This definitely reminded me of Jazz Jack Rabbit, without the enemies, but awesome job!

Keep it up :)!

MusicIsBliss responds:

haha, thanks.
I totally remember jazz jackrabbit now that you brought it up, holy shit, I haven't even heard of that game in forever!
